I smoke a lot of weed. At this point in my life, I’m a multi-daily smoker – which means there’s often smoke floating around my van.

I’ll be honest – I don’t mind the odor of weed. But I know practically that it’s not smart to drive around in a vehicle that reeks of marijuana (especially now that I’m getting into the South.) However, I also hate the scent of most odor eliminators.

The Problem with Scented Weed Odor Eliminators

I’m sensitive to strong scents (blame my ADHD.) I hate car air fresheners and don’t you ever spray Febreeze around me. Forget that these are full of toxic ingredients (and known endocrine disrupters) that are terrible for your health – they also reek of chemicals. I don’t smell “tropical breeze” or “clean laundry” – I just smell chemicals. Sure, Ozium will mask weed smells – at the cost of your space smelling like a small chemical manufacturing plant.

I’m not alone in this either. There’s a growing percentage of the population that doesn’t want to (or can’t) use these fake scented products. Whether for medical reasons or personal preference, many people are eschewing the old ways of masking weed odor. (Seriously – research how disruptive some of these chemicals are to your body – especially if you have an estrogen-dominant hormonal system)

So when I came across CannaBreezy at MJBiz Con, I was intrigued.

CannaBreezy promises to eliminate any odors, including weed smoke, without strong fragrances or scents. I was skeptical but hopeful when I got a bottle – it’s no small task to completely eliminate the smell of weed smoke, and I don’t see many fragrance-free odor eliminators.

But I was convinced the first time I sprayed CannaBreezy in my van – this sh!t works.
Spray CannaBreezy in a sweeping motion wherever you have weed smoke (or other odors) and watch (or smell, actually) as the odor is eliminated in seconds.

I’ve been using CannaBreezy to mask weed smells in my van for a few weeks now, and I’m ridiculously pleased with it. It works quickly, eliminates the smell, and doesn’t linger. It does all of this without perfumes, oils, or chemicals.

Now I’ll be honest – I don’t actually know what’s in CannaBreezy. The website simply says “natural ingredients safe for people, pets, and the planet” and the bottle lists “water and patented technology of common micro-nutrients” as the ingredients. The bottle also says these micro-nutrients are on the GRAS list, an FDA acronym that stands for Generally Regarded As Safe.

As per the FDA website “”GRAS” is an acronym for the phrase Generally Recognized As Safe. Under sections 201(s) and 409 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the Act), any substance that is intentionally added to food is a food additive, that is subject to premarket review and approval by FDA, unless the substance is generally recognized, among qualified experts, as having been adequately shown to be safe under the conditions of its intended use, or unless the use of the substance is otherwise excepted from the definition of a food additive.”

CannaBreezy isn’t a food additive, but it is airborne, which means it’s still important to consider its impact in your body. I’m no scientist so I can’t break it down further, but I can attest to how well it works.
