I’ve been using this face serum since 2022.
There are many things I like about this serum, but let’s start with my favorite – the smell. I am both sensitive to and particular about scents, but this face serum really hits the right notes. The main aroma I can pick out is rose and geranium, but it has an overall sweet earth and floral scent. When you read the ingredients, oil from flowers like sunflower, rosehip, lotus, jasmine, and lily becomes clearer, but I can’t discern them on scent alone – that’s just me.
Touching on the ingredients, this face serum is composed of natural oils that you’d recognize – not ten-syllable chemical blends. Belle Visage serum relies on soothing botanicals and beneficial oils from plants. In addition to the flowers listed above, there’s also plants like raspberries, sea buckthorn, and ylang ylang, as well as the skincare staple Vitamin E. The cannabis comes into play in a few ways: extract from the hemp flower, leaf, and stem, as well as CBD isolate. Like all of their skincare products, Element Apothec’s Belle Visage Face Serum was formulated by doctors.
Does Belle Visage Face Serum Work?
Of course, I can’t talk about this face serum without talking about the results.
I love how this serum makes my skin look and feel. I don’t apply it every day, but I use it regularly in my rotation, a few times a week. This serum first became a part of my routine in 2022, but I went without this serum for over a year when I was traveling, and I notice a difference in the evenness and radiance of my skin now that I’m using it again.
Element Apothec says this serum is ultra moisturizing, enhances radiance, supports balance, and has anti-aging properties. I agree with all of that. I don’t wear makeup much or often, so having good skin and a supportive skincare routine is important to me. This serum is an integral part of that, especially as I begin to make my way through my 30s.

Is Belle Visage Face Serum Worth the Money?
Belle Visage Face Serum is the single most expensive skin care product in my bathroom. I lean heavily on brands like Olay for effectiveness and affordability. When you’re traveling around the country, it’s hard to get things shipped, and the most sustainable skincare routine is one that you can restock from any Walgreens or Walmart in the country.
But for me, Belle Visage is worth the splurge. Not only does this serum feel luxurious and indulgent to apply, it works. Using this serum regularly leaves my skin silky soft and glowing.
Cannabinoids in Skincare
Among the many benefits hidden within the incredible cannabis plant are some that have been previously overlooked: weed is good for your skin.
How is that possible? It’s simple – your endocannabinoid system has receptors on every organ in your body, and your skin (medical term: dermis) is the largest organ in your body. There are many studies examining the benefits of CBD for skincare, particularly in its anti-inflammatory properties as well as antioxidant properties, which can help prevent aging via fine lines and wrinkles.

One of my biggest concerns in adding new skincare products to my routine is their effect on the health of my skin barrier, which can actually be eroded and destroyed by overusing harsh skincare products like acids and exfoliants.
