Photo Highlights from 8 weeks in the Van

Pennsylvania

We headed down to Pennsylvania as the first stop on the trip and ended up staying for a few weeks while the van visited the mechanics. It was an unexpected twist that gave me more time to explore the state that holds my second home.

Maryland

The van had to go back to the mechanic’s yet again, so I crashed with my SIL for a week. Spring was in full swing and I got to spend a few days in Washington DC as well.

Virginia

After weeks of van repairs, I ran to the mountains of Virginia to spend quality time with the van off-grid, staying mostly at trailheads. It was also my first trip to Shenandoah National Park.

Diamond’s spot in the van is in between the front seats – but she’s too short to see out the windshield!

Delaware

After a week in the mountains, I was ready for some sun on the beach and my first trip to Delaware did not disappoint.

Vermont

My husband’s 50-mile race took us up into the Green Mountains of Vermont where our brand-new bug screen came in very handy!

New York

A show in Buffalo took me back through my home state where I took the chance to visit family and check off a few Finger Lakes bucket list items.
